John Ungerleider, Ed.D. is director of the Greater Falls Community Justice Center. He has led Restorative Practices training in schools, as well as Domestic Violence Accountability and Parenting with Respect programs for men. John taught about peace and conflict as a professor at the School for International Training, Brandeis University, Vermont Law School, Marlboro College, Hampshire College, and the Community College of Vermont, as well as in Cyprus as a Fulbright Senior Scholar, Israel/Palestine, Uganda, Iraq, N. Ireland, and Spain. He has directed youth empowerment programs, such as the Vermont Governor’s Institute on Global Issues and Youth Action, World Learning Youth Peacebuilding and Leadership Programs, and Child Labor Education and Action (CLEA).  He has written articles, book chapters, and books, including, Let’s talk about it: A guide to leading youth dialogue across communities and conflicts, The Inner Peace Outer Peace Reader, and Challenging Child Labor: Education and Youth Action to Stop the Exploitation of Children, as well as the participatory musical “co-opera” about global warming, Secret of the Seasons
