New Middle School Flash Cards Published

A flash card that says "What Do We Want to Talk About? Question Cards for Creating Community Building Circles by & for Middle School Students; Dr. John Ungerleider, Lauren MacArthur, M.Ed., Dr. Mary Gannon, A publication of GFCJC 2024"

This year, Lauren Beigel MacArthur led our Restorative Practices in Schools weekly student restorative justice leadership groups at Compass School, Bellows Falls Union High School and Bellows Falls Middle School. We held teacher and staff training at Kurn Hattin Homes (KHH). Work at Compass and KHH was funded by the equitable shares provision of the Stronger Connections Grant, administered by the WNESU school district.

We published a second printing (with more questions added!) of our Middle School Circle Guide with Flash Cards—“What Do We Want to Talk About?” for teachers and students, with questions created by middle school students! Student leaders used these to design circles in their schools throughout this past year!

You can download a PDF of the guide with flashcards here. If you want to purchase a hard copy for your classroom or youth group, please email John Ungerleider.
